Pumpherston United players, club members and parents enjoyed a great day out at Livingston's Deer Park ten pin bowling centre recently and were treated to an extra special surprise when Hearts keeper Steve Banks attended to take part in a question and answer session with those in attendance.
Steve started his career in goals for West Ham United and has also played for Gillingham, Blackburn and Bolton Wanderers before joining Heart of Midlothian.
Players and club members were delighted to see Steve, and the Hearts keeper was happy to answer questions and share some top tips with those in attendance before helping to hand out presents from the club to players and officials.
A huge thanks to Steve for taking time out of his personal schedule to attend and make it a special event for everyone.
The players enjoyed a session of ten pin bowling with their team mates and family members before having a bit of lunch while catching up on recent festivities in the function suite.
