Pumpherston United Football Club was formed in 2005 and started with just 7 players.
The club entered one team into the under 11 section of the West Lothian Soccer Sevens League (WLSS). This league is a development football league regulated by the West Lothian Soccer Development Association (WLSDA).
Since their inaugural year the club has added 3 more teams and now operate squads at 1998, 1997, 1995 and 2002 age groups. In addition to this rapid growth the club also runs a very successful soccer school which gives an introduction to football for children aged from 5 to 12 years of age.
The current 1995, 1997 and 1998 squads compete in the West Lothian Association of Youth Football Clubs (WLAYFC), playing competative 11 a-side football throughout the Country.
The current 2002 squad is enjoying it's first season at Soccer Sevens within the West Lothian Youth Development Association (WLSDA), playing non-competative 7 a-side football within West Lothian.
All of the leagues that Pumpherston United participate in are regulated by the Scottish Youth Football Asscociation (SYFA).
All Pumpherston United coaches and officials are disclosed in terms of the requirements of the relevant governing bodies.
Pumpherston United have achieved Access Level through West Lothian Council's Community Sports Club development Scheme.
