Did you know?

Unlike the professional clubs, all our officials including coaching staff, first aid persons and committee are volunteers and do not take any salary what-so-ever for the work that they do. For most involved at the club a large proportion of their personal time is devoted to helping in one way or another.
All money donated to Pumpherston United goes straight into the club's fundraising programme and is used to provide a range of items from footballs to facilities.
On average a single team at Pumpherston United can require well over £1500 a season to run at a basic level. Costs can include £15 weekly match fees, £75 for 10 training balls, £150-£200 for strips (with home and away strips required), tracksuits at £25-£30 each. These are just the basics and an example of what's required at a minimum level. As you can see this all mounts up and we’ve not even started looking at football tours!! We currently have 3 teams and a Soccer School to fund.
Our members are dedicated and raise a lot of funds on their own behalf, such as the recent bag packing event held at Tesco in Bathgate where players and officials raised £1679.50.

Sponsors:
If you would like to know how you can get involved with supporting the club through sponsorship please contact us and we'll tell you about the different opportunities that exist for sponsoring. Sponsorship is not restricted to strips alone; you could sponsor one of our training ground boards or how about a sponsorship of bags or tracksuits. We can offer sponsored click through links on our website or you may even just want to help with the purchase of small items of training equipment such as training bibs, training or match footballs or slalom poles.

Our online shop:
Pumpherston United have launched an online fundraising webshop. We are asking our supporters to use the webshop to purchase goods online and raise money for the teams at no extra cost. An example of a donation that the club would receive would be a £5 donation to the club just for ordering your groceries from Tesco through our webshop (the £5 is donated through the retailer and webshop - not the shopper)!

Over 100 retailers are accessible through the webshop, including Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Asda, Sky and many others. Most retailers provide exclusive offers for webshop users offering discounts or free delivery for example. Providing more reasons for supporters to purchase through the webshop and so in turn support the club.

The webshop is very easy to use and you really don‘t need any technical experience at all. Why not give it a try!
